Privacy Policy

Jabwise keeps your journal on your iPhone. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your information.

Your journal stays on your iPhone

Your doses, prescriptions, weigh-ins, check-ins, notes, water, reminders and profile are stored only on your device. Jabwise has no account and no serverfor your journal, so we cannot see, read or share it. iOS encrypts it with your iPhone’s passcode, and it is included in your own iCloud or computer backup so it moves with you to a new iPhone.

Apple Health

If you turn on Read Steps, Jabwise reads your step count from Apple Health to show it in the app. It reads steps only, never writes to Apple Health, and step data never leaves your iPhone or reaches analytics. You can turn it off in Jabwise or in the Health app at any time.

What leaves your iPhone

To process purchases and, only if you choose, to improve the app, a small amount of information is handled by our service providers:

• Purchase history
• Device identifier
• Product interaction
• Crash data
• Performance data
• Other diagnostic data

None of it includes your journal entries or health information. It is not linked to your identity and is never used to track you across other apps or websites.

Service providers

RevenueCat manages purchases and restores. It receives an anonymous identifier and your purchase history so the app knows whether Jabwise Pro is active.

PostHog EU Cloud receives a small, predefined set of anonymous usage events and redacted error diagnostics only if you turn on Share Anonymous Analytics. It never receives your entries, notes, doses, weights, names, email addresses, precise location, advertising identifiers or session recordings. You can change this choice in Settings at any time, and opted-in events are retained for 12 months.

Reports you share

When you export a report, Jabwise creates a spreadsheet on your iPhone and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next is your choice; we never receive a copy.

Tracking

Jabwise does not track you. We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not build advertising profiles, we do not share data with data brokers, and we never sell your data.

Your data and your rights

You can erase everything on this iPhone at any time with Start Over in Settings, or by deleting the app. Because we hold none of your journal, there is nothing for us to export or delete on our side. You can restore purchases from Settings > Restore purchases (and a Restore button on the paywall). If you have a question about your data, contact us via the support page.

Children

Jabwise is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
